CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant
Certified Nursing Assistant needed for busy ophthalmic practice. Position includes coordinating post-operative patient instructions and other duties. Must be up to date with CPR and recommended vaccinations. Needs to be friendly and patient-oriented. Position is full time with benefits. Practice is open Monday through Friday. Ophthalmic Technician
Ophthalmic Technician position available. Position includes pre-examination for ophthalmic clinic visits. General medical knowledge including understanding of basic anatomy and physiology, systemic disease, ocular disease, ocular emergencies.
Job Requirements
Two (2) years of ophthalmology experience
High School Diploma
Ability to legally work in the United States.

Surgical Technologist
SurgiCare Center of Utah is a privately owned ambulatory surgical center. We specialize in cataract lens-implant surgery, refractive surgeries including ICL surgery, glaucoma surgery, retina-vitreous surgery, cornea surgery and facial cosmetic surgery. We are looking for someone friendly, dependable, and hard working.
Schedule: Full-time position, M-F (Hours open: 0730-1730, Surgery times vary), no Holidays, weekends or on-call shifts.
Expectations:
- Can demonstrate aseptic technique.
- Will be responsible to set up and maintain a sterile field.
- Will be responsible for weekly OR stocking and cleaning, etc.
- Will be responsible cleaning assigned surgical trays.
- Must be able to appropriately assist the surgeon with a variety of tasks that fall under the roll of a First Scrub.
- Take care of specimens, prepare, check and monitor medications and assist with dressings.
- Able to adapt to a changing work environment, e.g., helping other team members when needed, possibly doing tasks that fall outside the roll of a First Scrub.
- Turning over your own room with your nurse between cases is a requirement and must be done in a timely manner.
- Thoroughly clean surfaces within the operating room between cases and at the end of each day.
- Organize and restock operating room at the end of each day.
- Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program (Preferred)
- BLS (Preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of operating room experience. (Preferred)
