Important Billing System Update
Please read before making a payment
The Eye Institute of Utah is in the process of transitioning to a new electronic medical record (EMR) and billing system. As part of this update, online bill pay is temporarily split between two systems, depending on your date of service.
To ensure your payment is processed correctly, please review the information below and select the appropriate portal based on when you were seen and which entity you are paying.
Note: We will be processing payments in both systems through the end of May.
Which Payment Portal Should I Use?
If Your Date of Service Was Before February 17, 2026
Please use the NexTech Patient Portal to make your payment.
If Your Date of Service Is February 17, 2026 or After
Please use the ModMed Patient Portal.
You will see two payment options, depending on whether your bill is for the medical practice or the surgery center.

Not Sure Which Bill You’re Paying?
Your statement will indicate whether the balance is for Eye Institute of Utah, Inc. or SurgiCare Center of Utah, Inc.
