Use Your 2014 FSA or HSA Accounts for LASIK and PRK Treatment Before it’s Too Late!
Many people participate in Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA) through their employers. Funds available with these plans can often be used for LASIK, PRK, or other refractive eye surgery treatment; however, if the funds haven’t been used by a certain date, they are ultimately forfeited.
The good news is, you still have time to use your 2014 FSA or HSA balance on refractive eye surgery treatments. The funds must be utilized before March 2015, so please contact us to schedule a free consultation to determine if you are a candidate for a specific vision correction procedure. Once you have been evaluated and are deemed a candidate, you can check with your FSA/HSA administrator to find out how you can use a portion of those funds for treatment. Remember, FSA plans have a “use it or lose it” rule, so please be sure to explore your options before the deadline in March.
If you have questions, we will be happy to assist you! We can also help you schedule a consultation with one of our ophthalmologists for a comprehensive refractive eye examination to determine the best treatment option for your needs. Please contact The Eye Institute of Utah today.
